I love starting my day with this Healthy Greens Smoothie packed with cucumber, avocado, and spinach.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cucumber - sliced
  • 1/2 avocado - peeled and pitted
  • 1 cup spinach - tightly packed
  • 1 cup water - or coconut water for added flavor
  • 1 green apple - cored and chopped
  • a squeeze of lemon and some sweetener of your choice - optional

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy. If the consistency is too thick, add a little more water.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
